Here is the challenge:
Start to remodel your thought life.
Fit your brain with a Jesus Filter.
Let that filter catch thoughts that are un-Christ like. Repent of the un-Christ-like thoughts, and remove them from your grey-matter, and purpose to change those thoughts into thoughts Christ would think. This is a tough area to remodel, but becomes easier as your Jesus Filter catches the junk.
The next aspects of your life to remodel are your words, then your actions and reactions.
Put a Jesus Filter on those areas of your life.
What words do you speak? Do they edify or wound? Do they manipulate and gossip, or are they words of truth spoken in love? Would Christ say these words? How are you acting and reacting? Like Christ would act or react? Repent of the things that the filter caught, remove them from your life, and counter with words that Christ would say, with actions and reactions Christ would have done.
Move on to forgiving like Christ, serving like Christ, resisting temptation like Christ.
Then start eating like Christ, and celebrating like Him.
Become the last and least.
Go the extra mile—without grouching about it. Learn to look at all of humanity as precious souls who belong to GOD and are made in HIS image.
Jesus shows us Father.
HE shows us Father’s beautiful heart. So, when we follow Christ and live as true disciples—mirror images of HIM—we can know without a doubt that we are pleasing Father; that we are on that narrow path that leads to HIM. Jesus is our perfect example to follow as we spiritually remodel our lives.
