“I have known Mary for several years now and can tell you that she writes straight from her heart. Through the use of construction analogies, she demonstrates how to cultivate a fruit-filled relationship with both the Lord and our fellow man.
Her beautifully composed prayers and thought-provoking questions at the end of each chapter point straight to the Father’s love for us. I so appreciated her honest sharing and found that I could relate to many of her own struggles and victories.
I recommend this book to any woman, even those of us who have never worked in construction!”
Mary Dodd does an excellent job of teaching us how to build the most important project of our lives. In her book, “The Pink Toolbelt,” Ms. Dodd instructs us in building a relationship with Jesus, our Bridegroom, and Abba, our Father. But the project doesn’t stop there.
We are commanded in the Word of God to love one another, perhaps the most difficult task of the project. But the author demonstrates to us through her own experience how to put on our pink toolbelt, choose the needed tool and join The Carpenter in constructing a masterpiece of eternal beauty.
As I was reading Ms. Dodd’s words of wisdom and wit, sprinkled with humor, it occurred to me that it usually takes a builder with a pink tool belt to construct a true cornerstone, so that the headstone is able to function properly. I recommend this book for all women who desire to use their influence for the Kingdom of God.
